Ordinarily our consciousness is too full – full of thoughts, desires, memories, ambitions – day in, day out! Even when you’re sleeping, the mind is dreaming. When thinking has ceased, there are no thoughts, no desire, just silence - that silence is meditation. And in the silence truth is known – you will know who you are and the mystery of this existence. Meditation is included in all my yoga classes. At the conclusion of my yoga classes, we practice yoga nidra (yogic sleep) lying down, then we sit upright and practice meditation.
